Voluntary and paid coaching opportunities with GNA

Guernsey Netball Association offers a range of coaching opportunities, from volunteering with grassroots programmes to leading competitive teams. Whether you’re a seasoned coach or just starting out, we provide the support and training needed to develop your skills and make a meaningful impact.

Coaching with GNA is a chance to inspire players, shape the future of netball in Guernsey, and be part of a passionate community. With both voluntary and paid roles available, there’s a place for everyone to get involved and grow the sport we love.

Voluntary Coaching

Volunteering as a coach with Guernsey Netball is a rewarding way to give back to the sport while supporting players of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re helping young players take their first steps on the court or guiding a team through a competitive season, your time and expertise make a real difference.

We welcome coaches from all backgrounds and provide resources and mentoring to help you succeed. Voluntary coaching is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills, connect with the netball community, and share your passion for the game.

Paid Coaching

Time commitment: 1-2 hours per week. Responsibilities will vary depending on level of experience, but could include taking registers; helping with equipment; leading warm up etc. You'll be supported to undergo DBS checks and a safeguarding course as a minimum. There will also be opportunities to attend additional training courses.


£10 per hour (unqualified)

£12.50 per hour (Level 1 qualified)

£15 per hour (Level 2 qualified)
